This is the fifth-generation Quattroporte — the Pininfarina-designed sedan that put Maserati back on the map. Under the hood is the F136 4.2-litre V8, designed and built by Ferrari in Maranello: naturally aspirated, dry-sump lubricated, and happy to rev to 7,000 rpm.
This example wears its original Grigio Nuvolari paint over a grey leather interior with wood trim, wooden pull-down tables, and the factory Bose 9-speaker system. The original window sticker is included and reproduced below — options alone totalled over $20,000 when new.

The Maranello heart
The F136 V8 is shared architecture with the Ferrari F430 era — an oversquare, free-breathing 4.2 with dry-sump lubrication and variable valve timing.
The Cambiocorsa DuoSelect gearbox is a rear-mounted transaxle with a single automated clutch — the same F1-style system Ferrari used in period. It rewards paddle-shifted driving and gives the car near-perfect weight distribution.
